US recipes are written in Fahrenheit in 25-degree steps; UK, European and Australian recipes use Celsius, often with a separate fan temperature. Older British recipes use gas marks. The chart pairs the settings recipes actually use, so 175 °C appears as 350 °F even though the exact conversion is 347 °F.
